This weekend saw both our riders in action at Regional races.
Chloe Napier made the A Final in the tough 16+ Men's class at Round 2 of the South Region Summer Series in Bournemouth. The Region decided to roll the remaining winter race dates into the Summer Series to allow riders more chances to qualify for the British Championships, hence a summer race on a chilly day in March! Chloe's Championship Women class was incorporated into the 16+ Men's race to give the female racers more competition. Chloe's place in the A Final was a great achievement and also meant she was the highest placed female rider, which gave her 1st place points for her own class on the day.
Cal Strickland was in action in Leeds for the penultimate round of the North Region Winter Series. Cal was up against stiff competition in the Payback class, which is the top level of racing at Regional events. Last weekend saw Cal take a well earned 4th place at the Manchester round, this week he left everyone else in his tyre tracks as he took the win.
With only a few weeks until the start of the 2010 BMX National Series in Cheddar, both Fastlane riders look to be finding form at the right time.
